About
Trisha Zulic, SHRM-SCP

Trisha Zulic, SHRM-SCP, is a master storyteller, strategic HR consultant, and SHRM instructor who helps leaders move from unheard to unforgettable. With decades of experience transforming organizations, developing people-first strategies, and coaching professionals at every level, Trisha brings unmatched clarity to leadership moments that matter.
She is one of six siblings—three brothers, and two sisters. Life shifted when her younger sister Jacqueline arrived, turning Trisha from the baby of the family into the middle child. That early change planted the seeds of observation, curiosity, and quiet resilience. Growing up, Trisha often missed social cues and viewed the world through a different lens—something that felt isolating then but has since become her superpower: the ability to see what others overlook and say what others hesitate to speak.
Trisha’s love for storytelling started early and followed her onto the high school debate stage, where she once argued (successfully) that Goldilocks did not trespass on the Three Bears—because the door was open and she waited respectfully. That moment marked something meaningful: the first time she realized the power of voice, logic, and a well-framed narrative.
She was UnMuted through childhood—stop asking questions and stop talking, she was told. Then life happened. Like many, she learned how to shrink to fit, to pause instead of push, to wait instead of speak.
UnMuted Leader is her return, not just to the mic, but to the leader she always was.
Today, Trisha is a certified SHRM-SCP professional and an official SHRM instructor, teaching the next generation of HR leaders and business leaders with the same heart, humor, and fire that led her here. She consults with organizations nationwide to shift workplace cultures, develop emotionally intelligent leadership, and create space for bold, UnMuted voices.
When she’s not teaching, consulting, or writing, you’ll find her on the sidelines cheering for her granddaughters, sharing wisdom over coffee, or building the next chapter in her UnMuted series—because once the silence breaks, the stories keep flowing.
There comes a point in every career when the cost of silence outweighs the risk of speaking up.
